How to use this tool
- Enter between 1 and 500 SKUs, one per line. Check spelling, case and leading zeros against your inventory records.
- Choose a supported label-sheet layout and the number of copies per SKU.
- Generate the PDF and print at actual size. Scan a test label and check its position against the physical sheet before printing the full batch.
Example: repeated labels for two SKUs
If the list contains 00123 and AB-002 and you request three copies, the PDF contains six labels. Keeping the original SKU text avoids creating a different identifier from the one used in your stock system. Print scaling can change both label alignment and barcode readability.
| SKU | Copies | Labels produced |
|---|---|---|
| 00123 | 3 | 3 |
| AB-002 | 3 | 3 |
What to check before you export
- The generator uses Code 128 and supports its accepted character range; arbitrary Unicode characters are not supported.
- It does not assign GS1 product numbers or generate EAN/UPC retail identifiers. Confirm your scanner and inventory software support Code 128.
- Paper layouts and printer margins vary. Always check actual-size alignment and scan quality before printing a large quantity.
Frequently asked questions
Can I print the same barcode more than once?
Yes. Set the copies-per-SKU value before generating the PDF.
Will it work as a retail UPC barcode?
No. Code 128 is a different barcode format. If a marketplace or retailer requires UPC, EAN or GS1 identifiers, this output is not a substitute.
Why is the barcode hard to scan?
Check print scaling, sharpness, contrast and the blank space around the bars. Also confirm that the scanner is configured to read Code 128.
